Project Description
The 90 000 t/y energy-from-waste plant will process nonrecyclable and nonhazardous household waste using gasification technology. This waste will be converted into a synthesis gas using partial combustion heat to free hydrogen and carbon, which will produce high-temperature steam, capable of generating 7 MW of electricity.

Mott MacDonald has been appointed by Energos to provide engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for the plant. Mott MacDonald will provide the full mechanical and electrical design of the power plant, as well as procurement and construction management support services.
